The ascent of controversial American country music artist Morgan Wallen

Born on May 13, 1993, Morgan Cole Wallen grew up in a small town nestled in the heart of Appalachia.  

From an early age, he displayed an affinity for music, drawing inspiration from his mother, who was a local singer. 

It was evident that Wallen possessed a rare talent, and he honed his skills through years of performing at local venues and talent shows.

Wallen’s big break came in 2014 when he appeared on the reality television series "The Voice."  

Though he was eliminated during the playoffs, his stint on the show garnered him widespread attention and laid the groundwork for his future success. 

In the years that followed, Wallen signed with Big Loud Records and released a string of singles that began to gain traction on country music charts. 

However, it was Wallen’s debut studio album, "If I Know Me," released in 2018, that truly catapulted him into the spotlight.
